Hayley Henning is a seasoned marketing and corporate social responsibility (CSR) professional with over two decades of experience in the gemstone and jewelry industry. Her comprehensive expertise spans retail, wholesale, diamonds, colored gemstones, mining operations, retail floors, online presence, and TV retail channels, encompassing the full customer experience and supply chain.
Henning has developed numerous successful, unique and innovative marketing strategies, concepts, and events, and is well-known throughout the international jewelry industry – from mine to market. She maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including designers, wholesalers, retailers, media, and industry organizations, regularly appearing as a guest speaker at events and webinars.
Previously, Henning served as the Commercial Officer (CCO) of Greenland Ruby, a ruby and pink sapphire mining operation in southwest Greenland. In this role, she introduced the international gem and jewelry industry to a new and responsible source of the world's oldest ruby deposit. She led numerous mine tours for customers, designers, journalists, gemological laboratories, and VIPs.
Prior to that, Henning was the Executive Director of the Tanzanite Foundation at TanzaniteOne Mining Ltd., where she was instrumental in bringing tanzanite to the forefront as one of the most important colored gemstones globally. Her community initiatives included supporting various schools, orphanages, and women's empowerment projects, efforts that were recognized by the United Nations and CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation. Henning is also the co-author of "Tanzanite: Born from Lightning," a coffee table book published in 2016 with Didier Brodbeck and Art Director Icaro Carlos.
